“Our local workers, business owners, students, and the public need a well-thought-out plan that starts to ease these restrictions under the stay at home order. This extension doesn’t give any clarity to when people will get their jobs back. Closing the economy and putting it on hold is dangerous and reckless leadership. Businesses are ready to provide their products safely, give them a chance to stay afloat, and people need to get back to work.
Healthcare workers have worked tirelessly during this pandemic, and we know this is not a time to abandon the progress we have made. But the time for an actual plan is now; people can’t wait anymore.”
