Republican Jason Church’s latest TV ad in his bid for the 7th CD denounces the effort to impeach President Trump as “a circus trying to undo an election.”
The campaign declined to comment on where the ad is running, on what mediums and how much is being put behind the spot. It’s his fourth ad of the campaign.
The ad opens with Church, a former aide to GOP U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, saying it “only took one day” into Trump’s term for liberals to demand the president be impeached. After showing footage of protests, the spot shows Church shooting skeet outside.
“They don’t just disrespect our president, they disrespect us,” Church says as he reloads. “We cannot let them win. When we elect career politicians. They let us down. They fold.”
Church faces state Sen. Tom Tiffany, R-Minocqua, in the Feb. 18 primary.
