MILWAUKEE – Today, State Representative JoCasta Zamarripa announced her endorsement of David Crowley to be the next Milwaukee County Executive.

“As David’s colleague in the State Assembly, I have witnessed first-hand his commitment to getting things done for our diverse communities,” said Rep. Zamarripa. “Milwaukee County needs an inclusive leader capable of building bridges to achieve our shared goals of safe, stable neighborhoods and the opportunity for all to prosper no matter their zip code. David is that leader and I am proud to endorse him for County Executive.”

The residents of the 8th Assembly District are lucky to have had her fighting for them in Madison for the last decade,” said Rep. David Crowley. “I’m humbled to have earned her support in this race, and I look forward to working with her as the next County Executive.”

Representative Crowley currently serves Wisconsin’s 17th Assembly District, representing almost 60,000 residents in the State Legislature. As a member of the State Assembly, David sits on the Energy and Utilities, State Affairs, Workforce Development, and Transportation committees and is the ranking member on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee. He is the Chair of the Milwaukee Delegation, the Chair of the Black Caucus, and the Co-Chair of the Black and Latino Caucus. He also serves as a member of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) Board of Directors.

Representative Crowley lives in Milwaukee with his wife, Ericka, and their three young children.
