With many schools shifting to remote learning, Invest in Girls is offering a series of free financial literacy webinars. With finance being part of many news stories right now, we are creating a space for students to better understand current events through a four part webinar series:
April 14th: Workshop 1 – Stock Market & The News
An introduction to the stock market and the forces that effect it.
April 21st: Workshop 2 – To Invest, or Not to Invest
Learn about venture capitalism as a career and profession.
April 28th: Workshop 3 – Global Economy Guru
An introduction to global finance and how it effects everyday life.
May 5th: Workshop 4 – Jumpstart Your Financial Planning
Understand financial planning for the long and short term.
Each 45-minute webinar will start at 2pm EST. The webinars will include interactive activities and a short presentation from a female finance professional with expertise on each topic to answer student’s questions. To register, click here.
