House Majority PAC’s new TV ad in the 3rd CD knocks U.S. Rep. Ron Kind’s Republican challenger Derrick Van Orden on health care, saying “he doesn’t care about us.”
The narrator in the spot says Van Orden has called the Affordable Care Act “a disaster.”
The spot goes on to say the plan Van Orden supports would allow insurance companies to deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions and charge those over age 50 “thousands” more.
“Van Orden’s plan is simple: Don’t get sick,” the narrator says. “Derrick Van Orden doesn’t care about us.”
