Supreme Court candidate Jill Karofsky raised $227,552 over the final six months of 2019, according to a filing with the state Ethics Commission.

The Dane County judge finished the year with $181,274 in the bank after spending $157,190 between July 1 and Dec. 31.

For the year, she raised $348,603 in his bid to take on conservative Justice Daniel Kelly.

Campaign finance reports are due to the Ethics Commission Wednesday. Neither Kelly nor Marquette University Law School Prof. Ed Fallone had filed their reports by late Tuesday.

Kelly had $238,485 in the bank at the end of June, according to his last filing.

Meanwhile, Fallone raised about $75,000 over the last six months of 2019, according to a statement. His campaign said late Tuesday he had raised approximately $150,000 over the course of the year. In July, Fallone reported raising $73,424 by June 30.

Fallone’s campaign didn’t say how much he spent over the latest reporting period, which covers July 1-Dec. 31, or how much he had in the bank to end the year.

The primary is Feb. 18.
