[Madison, WI]  Last week, activist clerks in Dane and Milwaukee Counties attempted to circumvent the state’s Photo ID law. Today, in a decision without dissent, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled against those actions. Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald released the following statement:

“Today, a unanimous Wisconsin Supreme Court decision soundly rejected the far-left politics of clerks in our state who were trying to undermine an election. Yet again, liberals have tried to legislate through the courts and failed. I am glad to see the Wisconsin Supreme Court upholding the rule of law.”
