Waukesha – Jack Melvin, candidate for Waukesha Circuit Court Judge Branch 5, is proud to announce the endorsements of both Governor Scott Walker and Governor Tommy Thompson. Both, during their terms as Governor, appointed Jack to various roles within state government.

“I trust Jack because I have known and worked with him for over 15 years,” said Walker, who previously appointed Jack to roles in both Milwaukee County and the State of Wisconsin.

Such high level support speaks to Jack’s relationships in the community and throughout the state. Jack recognizes the role of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of our state government. Last week, Jack highlighted the judicial support he has at all levels of the judiciary including the support of four Supreme Court Justices.

Jack has also gained the support of Lt. Gov. Margret Farrow, Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos.

“Having the support of Lt. Gov. Farrow means a great deal to me, she was a trailblazer on so many levels. Her support and counsel have been invaluable during this campaign” said Melvin.

Jack is running to succeed the retiring Judge Lee Sherman Dreyfus who is retiring after 30 years on the bench. Jack lives in Oconomowoc with his wife and two daughters. He works as a staff attorney with the State of Wisconsin and is a member of the Wisconsin Army National Guard as a Judge Advocate.
