MILWAUKEE – Newly-elected Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley will be the featured guest at a virtual event set for noon on Wednesday, May 13. This Newsmaker Lunch Hour is presented by a partnership among the Milwaukee Press ClubWisPolitics.com and the Rotary Club of Milwaukee.

Crowley will field questions from a panel of journalists from noon to 1 p.m., moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Gene Mueller, host of Wisconsin’s Morning News at Newsradio 620 WTMJ.

Crowley, a Milwaukee native, was elected County Executive April 7 after serving as the Democratic state representative for Wisconsin’s Assembly District 17. Prior to his 2016 election to the Assembly, Crowley was executive assistant/policy director to then-state Sen. Nikiya Dodd. He also worked as a field organizer for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin and was African American statewide organizer for the Feingold Senate Committee.
