MILWAUKEE – Tom Haudricourt, beat reporter for the Milwaukee Brewers and Major League Baseball for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel will be the featured guest at a virtual event set for noon on Wednesday, July 1. This Newsmaker Lunch Hour is presented by a partnership among the Milwaukee Press Club and WisPolitics.com.

Haudricourt will discuss the contentious negotiations between Major League Baseball owners and players over negotiations for the start of the 2020 season as well as his book with Delaney Brey, sports reporter/anchor at TMJ4 and Drew Olson, of 97.3 The Game at iHeartMedia. Haudricourt’s book, Turning 50 – The Brewers Celebrate a Half-Century in Milwaukee, was published earlier this year by KCI Sports Publishing.

The conversation will take place from noon to 1 p.m., moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Gene Mueller, host of Wisconsin’s Morning News at NewsRadio 620 WTMJ.
