Project will create jobs and support Wisconsin’s major industries
Madison – The North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters commends the Evers’ Administration’s decision to resume the study of I-39/90 from Madison to the Dells. This corridor is critical to freight movement and serves as a principal gateway for tourists headed to the Wisconsin Dells and around the state.

Besides generating construction jobs, improvements to the I-39/90 corridor will be a catalyst for additional job creation throughout the state. A safe, modern, and efficient transportation system is necessary to our economy and supports Wisconsin’s crucial tourism, agriculture, and manufacturing industries.

The highly trained members of the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters stand ready to put their skills to work on this critically important infrastructure project.
