La Crosse – Yesterday, Brad Pfaff toured Western Technical Colleges’ Apprenticeship and Industry Training Center with members of IBEW Local 14. He released the following statement:

“Thank you to members of IBEW Local 14 and staff at Western Technical College for giving me the opportunity to visit the Apprenticeship and Industry Training Center. I saw first-hand the great work being done to train and teach Wisconsin’s workforce. Apprenticeship and job training programs are essential to get Wisconsin working again. They not only open doors for workers here in western Wisconsin, they also provide real-world training needed to drive our economy.”

Pfaff continued, “I understand the value of hard work and the importance of hands-on training. Everyone deserves a chance at a good paying job. In the State Senate, I will fight for increased funding for job training and retraining programs like those offered at Wisconsin technical colleges.”
