Rep. Romaine Quinn has announced he will not seek reelection this fall.
In an interview with DrydenWire.com, the Barron Republican said his decision came after he was approached to take a job locally, a prospect he found attractive as he and his wife try to start a family.
“I want to know I’ll be home when I’m needed the most and I can’t guarantee that when I’m in Madison,” he said.
Quinn, 29, didn’t immediately return messages WisPolitics.com left on his cell phone and with his Capitol office.
