MADISON – Today, Rep. Goyke, along with his Assembly Democratic colleagues, was sworn in to the 2021-22 session of the Wisconsin State Legislature by Governor Tony Evers in a virtual inauguration ceremony. After the ceremony, Rep. Goyke gave the following statement:

“I am honored to continue to represent the people of the 18th Assembly District. 2020 tested us and while we celebrate the end of a most difficult year, I look ahead to what is possible in the coming session. This new legislative session should be defined by our aspirations; beginning a new decade focused on recovery and growth to move our state forward. In my role as the ranking Assembly Democrat on the Joint Committee on Finance, I will work each day to advance the priorities of Wisconsinites in our state budget and beyond. I’m ready and excited to get to work.”
