MADISON – Assembly Assistant Democratic Leader Representative Dianne Hesselbein (D-Middleton) released the following statement on Representative Jason Fields’ decision not to seek re-election:
“Jason is an incredible champion for the people of Milwaukee and has always worked to find common ground with anyone willing to move Wisconsin forward. I will miss his thoughtful presence especially in an uncertain time such as this. Jason is a leader that encourages us to see the bigger picture and come together to solve problems. I am personally thankful for his help in the passage of our Benefit Corporation legislation which supports the positive work of businesses in our state working for the social good of our community. I admire Jason’s exceptional character and I know it will serve him well in his next venture.”
