WAUPACA – Representative Kevin Petersen (R-Waupaca) announced he will not be running for the 14th State Senate District currently held by retiring Senator Luther Olsen (R-Ripon).
In his official announcement, Petersen stated: “After many hours of contemplation, prayers, and discussions with my family, I have decided to continue working with my colleagues in the Assembly ensuring Wisconsin remains the best state to live, work, raise a family, and retire.”
Concluding his statement Petersen said, “My votes reflect the values of the hard-working people in the 40th Assembly District and around the state. I look forward to continuing my work in the Assembly representing the interests of my constituents.”
Petersen extends his heartfelt gratitude to Senator Olsen for the decades he served in both the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate.
