MADISON– Melissa Sargent (D-Madison) released the following statement announcing an endorsement from Dane County Supervisor Jerry Bollig, for her candidacy for Wisconsin’s 16th Senate District:

“Today I am pleased to announce an endorsement from Dane County Supervisor Jerry Bollig,” said Sargent. “In his time on the Dane County Board, Jerry has served his community of Oregon with the utmost passion and commitment. His background in agriculture, accounting, and public service, make him a qualified and effective leader for Dane County.”

“I am proud to endorse Melissa Sargent for the Wisconsin State Senate. I served with Melissa on the Dane County Board prior to her service as a member of the Wisconsin Assembly. I feel that my service with Melissa allows me to endorse the fact that Melissa has the experience, energy, communication skills, work ethic and the key interpersonal relationships necessary to make an immediate impact as a member of the Wisconsin Senate. She will be a very effective proponent for the residents of our state,” said Bollig.
