This week Assembly Republicans unveiled ideas to help the state fight the coronavirus.
The package includes building a robust testing system, doubling the number of contact tracers, assisting the healthcare industry, ensuring an efficient distribution of COVID vaccines, requiring Unemployment Insurance reform and helping small businesses.
With COVID cases surging across the state, Wisconsin needs some bipartisan answers.
The virus is the enemy; not the other political party.
I look forward to working with my Senate colleagues and the governor.
We need to put disagreements aside and move forward on policies that keep communities safe while not bankrupting families or our economy.
In the meantime, I join the chorus of others in asking you to continue to follow CDC guidelines to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.
