MADISON– Melissa Sargent (D-Madison) released the following statement announcing an endorsement from Dane County Supervisor Melissa Ratcliff for her candidacy for Wisconsin’s 16th Senate District:

“Today I am proud to announce an endorsement from Supervisor Melissa Ratcliff,” said Sargent. “Supervisor Ratcliff is a dedicated public servant for Cottage Grove and the Town of Pleasant Springs, fighting with integrity and compassion for her community. I am very humbled to have her support.”

Melissa Ratcliff serves as the Dane County Board Supervisor for the 36th District, in addition to serving on the Village Board as a Trustee for the Village of Cottage Grove. Further, Melissa has been a Paralegal with Eisenberg Law Offices since 2000. She assists the attorneys with personal injury and criminal cases and is a member and Newsletter Editor for the Madison Area Paralegal Association (MAPA).

“Melissa Sargent advocates for the people she represents and works to understand the unique challenges that each community faces. She has worked on and pushed for legislation that helps people in all communities in Wisconsin. Melissa has worked tirelessly over the past 7 years to represent her Assembly District and I know she will bring that to our Senate District,” said Ratcliff.
