Madison – State Senator Dan Feyen (R- Fond du Lac) was elected today by his Senate Republican colleagues to serve as Assistant Majority Leader of the State Senate for the 2021-2022 session. He released the following statement on his re-election to this post.

“I am grateful for the support of my fellow Senators. While I may only represent a portion of the state of Wisconsin, I look forward to learning from all of the senators about their unique and diverse districts so we can craft a caucus strategy that helps move our whole state forward. It is more important now than ever that we act as a united front to strengthen Wisconsin’s economy and restore the livelihoods of Wisconsinites from Superior to Sturtevant.”

First elected to Senate in 2016, Senator Dan Feyen represents the 18th Senate District, which includes parts of Winnebago, Fond du Lac, and Dodge counties. Senator Feyen won re-election to the senate on November 3rd, 2020.
