Milwaukee, WI –Senator Chris Larson released the following statement regarding being named State Legislator of the Year by Shepherd Express.
“I am incredibly humbled and appreciative to have my neighbors vote me the Shepherd Express State Legislator of the Year. Throughout my career in public service, I have made it a priority to reach out to my neighbors, learn their views, and champion the issues they hold dear. Every year we hold multiple town halls and listening sessions, send out surveys, and go to talk with folks.
“Because I have lived in, worked for, and been a part of this community my whole life, this distinction means the world to me. Thank you to The Shepherd Express and to all the folks who took the time to vote in the 2019 Best of Milwaukee poll. I will keep the views, values, and opinions of my neighbors in mind as I do my best to fight for our shared values.
