Governor Evers’ has a lengthy history of saying he won’t or can’t do something, then actually issuing such orders.

-In March 2020, Governor Evers said he wouldn’t need to issue a lockdown like other states, then after receiving pressure from his liberal allies he suddenly issued the Safer At Home Order until the end of April 2020.

-In March 2020, Governor Evers said he didn’t have the power, nor did he think it was necessary to delay the April 7th election.  After pressure from his liberal allies, he made a sudden announcement just days before April 7th to postpone the election.  Of course, the courts blocked Governor Evers illegal order and the election occurred on April 7th.

-In April 2020, Governor Evers said several times he didn’t think it would be necessary to extend the Safer At Home Order, then after receiving pressure from his liberal allies he extended the Safer at Home Order until the end of May.  Of Course, the Republican Legislature filed a lawsuit which resulted in the State Supreme Court ruling on May 16th striking down all of the Safer At Home Order.

-In July 2020, Governor Evers repeatedly said he didn’t have the legal authority to issue a statewide face mask mandate, then after receiving pressure from his liberal allies he suddenly declared a new state emergency and issued a statewide face mask mandate.

-In August 2020, Governor says he won’t block in-person classes in public schools, then after being pressured by his liberal allies….you see the trend and it is hard to take Governor Evers’ denials seriously.
