U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil’s fifth TV ad of the campaign touts the CARES Act and Paycheck Protection Program.
The spot, set to run in the Milwaukee broadcast market, is narrated by Jodi Karrow of Twin Lakes. Karrow said she was concerned about her family’s health and jobs when the coronavirus struck, but has been heartened by the Janesville Republican’s efforts in Congress.
“Because of Bryan Steil, a lot of workers kept their jobs and families like mine kept their health care,” Karrow says in the ad.
The spot comes as Steil carries a near 6-to-1 spending advantage on the airwaves. According to Advertising Analytics, the Janesville Republican has spent more than $1 million on ads in the race, while Dem opponent Roger Polack has spend $173,700 on spots so far.
