Janesville, Wis. — Today, the Steil for Wisconsin campaign submitted the maximum number of nomination signatures allowed to ensure Congressman Bryan Steil would appear on the ballot this year. The campaign collected more than 5,000 nomination signatures from citizens all across the first congressional district—more than twice the maximum the campaign is allowed to submit. Congressman Steil released the following statement:
“I’m encouraged by the tremendous grassroots support our campaign has received, especially during these difficult times.” said Steil. “I’m excited to take this first step towards reelection in November. I’m proud to represent the people of Southeast Wisconsin and I humbly ask for their trust for another two-year term.”
