Weston, Wis. —  Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner announced his endorsement of Tom Tiffany for Congress in Wisconsin’s 7th District at a grassroots event at Dale’s Weston Lanes in Weston on Sunday afternoon.

Statement by Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner:
“I am pleased to announce my endorsement of Senator Tom Tiffany in the upcoming special election to fill the 7th Congressional District seat recently vacated by Congressman Sean Duffy.

“My 41 years of service in Congress mean I have seen a lot, and I know what we need in Congress is a proven leader who will stay true to conservative principles. Tom Tiffany has a sound record of fiscal responsibility, has met challenges by offering real solutions, and has drawn on his small business experience to formulate good policy for the families he has represented.

“It’s now time to send Tom to Washington and let him utilize the tools he has fine-tuned throughout his career. We are fortunate to have such an outstanding candidate willing to serve in Congress. As Dean of this delegation, I am confident Tom Tiffany will proudly represent the families of the 7th Congressional District. Please join me in supporting Tom Tiffany on Tuesday, February 18.”

Statement by Tom Tiffany:
“Congressman Sensenbrenner’s endorsement means so much. As the Dean of Wisconsin’s Congressional delegation, he really looks out to make sure the conservatives he supports will stand up for the people they represent back home in Wisconsin. I’m honored to earn his support, and I hope to earn the support of 7th Congressional District voters on Tuesday, February 18.”

In addition to Sensenbrenner’s endorsement, Tom Tiffany has the support of Congressman Sean Duffy, Governor Scott Walker, Governor Tommy Thompson, Americans for Prosperity–Wisconsin, Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin, the Great Lakes Timber Professionals Association, as well as several state legislators and county sheriffs from Northern and Western Wisconsin.

The special primary election for the 7th Congressional District will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2020
