In his latest TV ad, U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany touts his support for law enforcement and denounces the unrest in cities stemming from police violence towards people of color.

The Minocqua Republican in the ad stood in front of two police cruisers and linked his Dem opponent Tricia Zunker with “radicals, socialists and anarchists” attempting to defund police budgets.

“They are willing to put your family at risk to tear this country apart to advance their far left agenda,” he said. “Our police deserve our thanks, our respect and better funding to handle an ever-increasing workload.”

According to Advertising Analytics, Tiffany has laid down $230,052 in media buys between the August primary and Nov. 3 election. Meanwhile Zunker, of Wausau, so far has spent a total $8,127 on digital ads.

November marks a rematch between Zunker and Tiffany, who won the northern district in a May special election with 57.1 percent of the vote.
