La Crosse, WI – Today, Ron Kind is endorsing a slate of candidates for the state legislature to secure Democratic victories up and down the ballot in November. The endorsed candidates are as follows: Patty Schachtner (SD-10), Jodi Emerson (AD-91), Jill Billings (AD-95), Steve Doyle (AD- 95), and Katrina Shankland (AD-71). Kind released the following statement on the endorsements:
“We are so fortunate to have some incredible leaders serving our communities in the State Legislature, and we need to keep them there! We are facing unprecedented times, and now, more than ever, we must work together. Government works best when there are a variety of views that come together and find common ground. Patty, Jodi, Jill, Steve, and Katrina have proven that they are willing to work across party lines and put Wisconsinites first. We must ensure that they return to Madison come November.”
Additional endorsements may be announced later on. Kind endorsed Brad Pfaff for State Senate earlier this year.
