La Crosse, WI — Today, Rep. Ron Kind is encouraging Wisconsinites to take advantage of the open enrollment period, which closes December 15. Before the deadline, those under the age of 65 can get health care coverage or make changes to their current health care plan by visiting healthcare.gov.
“I encourage all Wisconsinites to take advantage of the open enrollment period and sign up for quality affordable health care ahead of tomorrow’s deadline,” said Rep. Ron Kind. “Now is the best time to make changes to current health care plans and compare options to make sure that your plan is the best fit for you. Most people can find a plan with no-cost preventative care and may be eligible for tax credits to assist with monthly premiums.”
