WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, spoke about recent developments regarding his committee’s oversight into conflicts of interests involving the Biden family.

Excerpts from the interview are below. Video can be found here.

“From our own standpoint, as we continue to validate and verify based on emails that have been emerging, all we have found is verification. We haven’t found any discrepancies.”

“That’s why it’s so important for investigative reporters to start using their sources, because they actually have sources that will give them information. Obviously, people like [FBI] Director Wray, CIA Director Haspel are not responsive to legitimate congressional oversight. Now, we are starting to get more information out of the FBI, but this is 13 days before the election. We should have had this information months – if not years – ago.”

“Here’s the first question I would ask out of 100 different questions for Vice President Biden: “Mr. Vice President, why did you meet with Devon Archer five days before you went to Ukraine and you were named the face of U.S. policy in Ukraine? Why did you meet with Devon Archer and then five, six days later Devon Archer was named to the board [of Burisma]?”
