RACINE, WI — Today, Vice President Joe Biden has endorsed Roger Polack, a Racine native, national security expert, and Democratic nominee for Congress in Wisconsin’s 1st District.
“I am proud to endorse Roger Polack for Congress in Wisconsin’s First District,” said Vice President Biden. “Roger’s record of service to our country, including deploying to Afghanistan, makes him the best choice to represent the people of Southeastern Wisconsin in Congress.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Vice President Biden,” said Roger Polack. “I look forward to working with him to ensure that every American has access to quality, affordable health care, that we have a strong economic recovery from the harm the virus has caused, and bring back family-supporting jobs to this district.”
About Roger Polack
Roger Polack grew up in Racine, one of four children in a blue-collar family. After graduating from Horlick High School, he put himself through UW-Madison and ultimately law school at Georgetown University, studying law at night while working on some of the most pressing national security issues our country faces during the day. He served in the Bush and Obama administrations as a civilian intelligence analyst and then a senior policy advisor. Polack deployed to Afghanistan multiple times to take on the Taliban, shut down their financing pipeline, and expose corruption in Afghanistan. He also worked to hold China’s feet to the fire on investment and national security issues and to stop Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Prior to running for Congress, he served as an attorney focusing on public international law and investigations. He’s running for Congress because he wants to continue serving our country and ensure that every family, just like his own, has the opportunity to build a better life for themselves.
