Regional Testing Site Stood-up by WING

(Waukesha, WI)- Waukesha County Public Health and the Waukesha County Office of Emergency Management will continue their partnership with the Wisconsin National Guard to provide COVID-19 drive-thru testing through early-December. All Wisconsin residents, age 5-plus years old or, individuals who work in the state, can get tested at Waukesha County Expo Center (1000 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI). Hours vary during the week. Tests will be administered during the following hours, or until the 300 tests per day have been administered, Mondays & Wednesdays: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Fridays: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Waukesha County Expo Center will be the regional testing site stood up by the Wisconsin National Guard (WING). Dates for the community testing site are as follows. Not all dates have the same hours of operation.

October: 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30
November:
 2, 4, 6, 9, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 30
December: 2, 4, 7, 9

Date Exceptions: The National Guard will not be testing on Wednesday, November 11 (Veteran’s Day), Wednesday, November 13, or Friday, November 27 (Thanksgiving holiday).

Individuals who want to be tested are asked to pre-register online in advance to reduce wait times at the testing site. Go to https://register.covidconnect.wi.gov/  to pre-register. This site is also available in Spanish and Hmong through use of the dropdown menu. Those registering to be tested will be asked to provide name, address, phone number, and date of birth. Proof of insurance, proof of identification, or a primary care physician are not required.

Tests will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Those getting tested should be prepared to wait in line in their vehicles and follow instructions provided at the site. Information will be provided to individuals tested about how they will receive test results.

Among all Waukesha County’s community-wide testing partners, there is capacity to conduct approximately 3,000 COVID-19 tests each week.
