(WISCONSIN) — In response to Eric Trump’s upcoming visit to Wisconsin, Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Philip Shulman released the following statement:
“Every visit from the Trump campaign is just another reminder of the president’s total failure in the face of the pandemic. Even as Wisconsin cases skyrocket, there is still no national strategy to confront the pandemic. Between the Trump campaign actively disregarding public safety, and Republicans in the Wisconsin legislature sabotaging any coordinated response to stop COVID-19, Wisconsinites recognize that Republicans have put politics over peoples’ lives at every turn and will hold them accountable for the next 22 days. ”
