[Madison, WI] – WisGOP released the following statement from Chairman Andrew Hitt regarding the Presidential recount in Wisconsin:
“This continual disregard for basic election protections cannot be tolerated any longer, as it leads to a continual decline in people’s trust and confidence in our elections and in our government. For too long, the Wisconsin Elections Commission and some of our local government officials have taken liberties with our state’s elections laws and ignored the plain text of the statute. Thank you President Trump, for once again standing up and fighting for Wisconsinites.”
