U.S. Sen. Johnson: Wisconsin delegation honors Korean War hero Einar ‘Sarge’ Ingman at Wisconsin post office renaming ceremony
OSHKOSH — On Saturday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin’s 7th District, state Senator Mary Felzkowski (R-Irma) and state Representative Calvin Callahan (R-Tomahawk) hosted a ceremony to rename the Tomahawk Post Office in honor of Korean War hero Einar “Sarge” Ingman Jr. Senator Johnson said, “Einar ‘Sarge’ Ingman is a true American hero. For the extraordinary courage he displayed during his service in the Korean War, he was awarded the Medal of Honor – our nation’s highest military honor. After recovering from serious injuries, Ingman was discharged from the U.S. Army and returned to Tomahawk where he lived
