Despite its expected benefits for Wisconsin, Ron Johnson has fully ruled out supporting the bipartisan infrastructure deal he last week voted against advancing in the Senate — even though he’s praised the bill as “good” (at least twice).

Earlier today, Johnson told CNS News he believes it’s “pointless” to find out what’s in the bipartisan deal, because — no matter what, he says — “I’m not going to vote for the bill.”

That tracks with what Johnson told WCLO radio on Tuesday: “I can’t imagine a scenario in which I’m going to vote ‘yes’ on this thing.”

Since June, Johnson has made clear that he will put partisan politics first and do his best to “frustrate” and prevent passage of a bipartisan infrastructure deal — even if it means working against communities across Wisconsin.

Across the state, Wisconsinites are hearing how the bipartisan infrastructure deal will help their communities:
