Madison, WI — On Saturday, October 2nd at 1 pm, people across Wisconsin will take to the streets in Madison for a march and rally to demand an end to the dangerous, escalating attacks on reproductive rights and freedoms in this country. Anti-choice GOP politicians from states across the county — including Florida, North Dakota, South Dakota, Mississippi, Indiana, and Arkansas — are following Texas’ example and trying desperately to ban abortions and limit access to reproductive freedom.

The Madison March was organized by Linda Kessel of Indivisible Madison, Danielle Repasky and Katie McKeown of Stand Up In Style, and Meredith Jones as part of the national day of action which will feature more than 600+ events in all fifty states.

Speakers at this time include Tanya Atkinson – CEO of Planned Parenthood WI, State Senator Kelda Roys, WI Attorney General Josh Kaul, and representatives from the Rape Crisis Center and the Women’s Medical Fund of WI. Additional speakers are to be announced.

To promote safety given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this event will take place outdoors and attendees will be encouraged to wear masks.
