Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes said he intends to do everything he can to ensure Evers wins another term and that Wisconsin voters remove Johnson from office in 2022.
Barnes noted how the state was the birthplace of the labor and progressive movements, and how it has been on the forefront of a number of policies promoting equality. He called on Wisconsin to make history again, just as it has in the past.
He also said Dems haven’t always been united on racial or environmental issues. But now, he said he feels “something very different” about Dems’ united enthusiasm.
