Budget committee approves bill directing Evers administration to create plan to increase ag exports

The Joint Finance Committee voted unanimously today to sign off on legislation that would direct DATCP and WEDC to create a plan to increase Wisconsin’s agricultural exports 25 percent by mid-2026.
SB 325 has already passed the Senate. But the committee tweaked it to remove funding from the legislation after money was put aside in the state budget for the initiative.
