Former HUD Secretary Julián Castro will be the keynote speaker Saturday night for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s virtual state convention.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.; Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.; and national party Chair Jamie Harrison will address a virtual fundraiser Sunday evening.
Along with Castro, those who will address the convention Saturday night include Gov. Tony Evers; U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison; U.S. Reps. Ron Kind, of La Crosse, Gwen Moore, of Milwaukee, and Mark Pocan, of the town of Vermont.
The Dem candidates for U.S. Senate will address the convention Sunday morning.
