The Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association applauds the Wisconsin Legislature for the
unanimous bi-partisan vote of legislation (Senate Bill 11) that will assist officers dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to get the help they need.

Today is an important day for law enforcement throughout Wisconsin. Our members
understand the importance of officers having access to professional treatment and support.
With this bill passing, we are one step further to aiding officers in recovery from PTSD so they can better serve the communities that depend on them.

The Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association respectfully urges Governor Tony Evers to swiftly
sign this legislation into law.
