City of Racine – The City of Racine, Racine County, AMI Health, and Health Care Network will partner this weekend to bring mobile pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics directly to neighborhoods this Saturday. Clinics will be run out of the City’s Mobile Voting Unit (which looks like a big City branded RV) and canvassers will be knocking on doors to let residents know they can walk to a nearby corner in their neighborhood to get vaccinated.

The City’s mobile clinic vehicle will be parked on the corner of the following intersections for an hour at the following times this Saturday:

  • 11:00 AM 16th and Packard Avenue
  • 12:00 PM 16th and Austin Avenue
  • 1:00 PM Slauson Avenue and Taylor Avenue
  • 2:00 PM Woodland and Bluff Avenue
  • 3:00 PM Dalamere Avenue and 10th Street
Residents in these neighborhoods will receive fliers at their door this week in advance of Saturday and canvassers will be knocking on doors on Saturday to encourage residents to get vaccinated. The neighborhood locations for this weekend reside within Racine Common Council President John Tate II’s aldermanic district and he will join canvassers this Saturday in support of this effort.

“The number one way for us to get beyond this pandemic is to get vaccinated. I appreciate the City, County, AMI, and Health Care Network for coming up with creative ways to meet our residents where they live – directly in their neighborhoods – to encourage them to get vaccinated. When they knock on your door, ask questions, get answers, and then please, get vaccinated,” said President Tate II.

As a reminder, vaccines are FREE. No ID, health insurance, or appointments are needed. The FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine will be available, along with limited quantities of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Vaccines are available for individuals age 12+. City of Racine residents who get vaccinated are able to receive the City’s $50 gift card incentive and already-vaccinated City residents who bring unvaccinated City residents to get vaccinated will receive a $50 Good Neighbor gift card.
