KENOSHA – Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm endorses Angela Cunningham for Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge Branch 6.

“I’ve known Angela since her time as an Assistant District Attorney. I have always been impressed by her passion for justice. As a prosecutor, Angela advocated strongly for victims while also treating defendants with dignity and respect. Angela is qualified, capable, and committed to her community. It is my pleasure to endorse Angela Cunningham for Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge,” stated Chisholm.

DA Chisolm has served as Milwaukee County District Attorney since 2007 and has made national news for his enactment of several justice reform policies.

“I am honored to receive District Attorney John Chisholm’s endorsement. I admire his commitment to transparency, accountability, and data-driven reform in the Milwaukee County Justice System. As a judge, I will follow his lead by ensuring transparency and accountability in my courtroom. I will also advocate for a comprehensive study of racial disparities in the Kenosha County Court System and will collaborate with community leaders and organizations to find a data-driven solution to the disparities,” stated Cunningham.

DA Chisholm is the second District Attorney to endorse Angela, following Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne.

Voters will be able to cast their ballots on April 6 for the general election. If victorious, Cunningham will make history as the first Black person elected to the bench in Kenosha.
