Derrick Van Orden is an insurrectionist, proud sexual harasser of female service members, and a bully — and as another Democratic challenger enters the race this week, it’s clear that after this election cycle, Van Orden will be adding two-time failed candidate to the list.
Badger State voters have already rejected Van Orden for his extremist agenda that does more for Washington party leaders and his out-of-touch donors bankrolling his campaign than Western Wisconsin.
And since his last failed run, Van Orden has only made matters worse by potentially illegally using campaign money on his trip to the deadly Capitol insurrection, proudly bragging about sexually harassing female service members, and reportedly accosting a local teenager working at a Prairie du Chien library.
“Derrick Van Orden’s record speaks for itself — he would be a disaster for hard-working families, farmers, and small businesses because he does not represent Western Wisconsin values,” said DCCC spokesperson Elena Kuhn. “Wisconsinites deserve a representative who’s focused on the issues that matter most to hard-working families, not participating in a deadly attack on our democracy and terrorizing and disrespecting the very people he wants to represent.”
