The west side of the Morse Street intersection at WIS 26/Milton Avenue in Janesville will be closed from 4 a.m. Monday (May 3) to 6 a.m. Friday, May 7. No turns will be permitted from WIS 26 to travel west on Morse Street to access Menards and other businesses. Motorists must use alternate local routes, such as US 14/Humes Road and Bell Street. All other WIS 26 and Morse Street intersection turning movements will be maintained.
Crews will pave new concrete lanes for WIS 26 southbound. The work operations and road closure are weather dependent and subject to change.
