WASHINGTON — The Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association released the following statement regarding its endorsement of Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes in his primary campaign for US Senate in Wisconsin.
“Lt. Governor Barnes is a leader with the energy, expertise, and experience that will benefit Wisconsin and our nation as a U.S. Senator. Lt. Governor Barnes is a champion who will fight climate change, advocate for more affordable healthcare for more people, and work to ensure equal opportunity for every Wisconsinite. I speak for all of my colleagues at the DLGA when I say we are excited to support Lt. Governor Barnes and his continued service to the people of Wisconsin in every way we can,” said DLGA Chair and Michigan Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist II.
