Evers plans to soon release fuller accounting of plans for federal COVID funds as JFC prepares for budget votes

Gov. Tony Evers said today he expects to soon have a fuller accounting of his plans to spend the $3.2 billion in federal stimulus funds so the GOP-controlled Joint Finance Committee knows where the money is going before it starts voting on the budget in earnest.
Last week, Evers vetoed 11 GOP bills seeking to dictate how the money will be spent, saying he believed the proposals would slow down the process of getting the money into the hands of those who need it.
Evers told reporters this morning he had a call scheduled with the federal government to get more input on how the money can be spent...
