Milwaukee, Wisc. September 28, 2021 – Ahead of its 11th Annual National Policy Summit in Milwaukee this week on September 29th and 30th, 2021, Wisconsin Federation for Children is proud to announce a new website featuring educational advocacy toolkits for parents and community leaders.

The toolkits provide parents with in-depth information on topics including: communicating with legislators, working with the media, using social media, influencing policy and organizing in the community.

Visitors can watch short videos, get action alerts, find their legislators, read how-to guides and submit op-eds, letters to the editor and press releases directly to the news outlets of their choosing.

“We believe every child deserves a world-class education,” says Wisconsin Federation for Children State Director Justin Moralez. “These new resources empower parents to advocate for school choice on behalf of their communities.”

An April 2021 poll from Real Clear Opinion Research found that overall support for school choice has increased since the start of the pandemic to 71%, an increase of 10 percentage points over a similar poll conducted the previous year.
