The award winning Garver Feed Mill, located next to Olbrich Botanical Gardens, is pleased to  announce the addition of two new businesses, Glitter Workshop and Clouds North Films, as their  new home.

The Glitter Workshop is a creative space, offering workshops, including candle making and paint  pouring, as well as a showcase of local artists and fun gifts. Glitter Workshop plans to open in  December. Naomi Richardson, owner of Glitter Workshop which will be relocating from  Hilldale, has long dreamed of locating of re-establishing her business on the east side of  Madison.

“Opening in early 2006 on East Johnson, and quickly expanding to organize Madison’s first  indie craft shows (Glitter Workshop Craftaculars, first held at the High Noon Saloon), and  crafting workshops, I knew I was on the right path. While the business has moved, transformed,  and closed for a few years to raise my children, I knew someday I would be back on the east side,  where my heart and soul belong.

After visiting Garver for the first time to run in for a slice at Ian’s Pizza, I was smitten. The  architectural elements, the creative ways this beautiful structure has been renovated, and the  commitment to our community, are just a few of the reasons I decided to move to Garver. This  unique space will allow me to continue to offer our workshops, including candle making, paint  pouring and bath bombs to name a few, expand to offer even more and bigger sized classes, and  showcase local art, and unique gifts. I am thrilled to become a part of this marvelous space and  community”

Glitter Workshop made its successful retail debut at this past weekend’s Eastside Winter Market  at Garver and will be popping up through December at Garver. In January, Glitter Workshop will  be open with consistent hours and online booking is already open for January workshops.
