MADISON –Today, Sarah for Wisconsin launched a six-figure, early voter contact campaign targeting Democrats across Wisconsin, beginning with “Afterthought.” As the Supreme Court hears arguments this month and next on anti-abortion bills from around the country, Godlewski’s first digital ad focuses on protecting reproductive choice and standing up to right-wing efforts to undo the law of the land.

“With attacks coming from every corner of the country, including here in Wisconsin, we can no longer afford to elect leaders who treat choice as an afterthought,” said Wisconsin State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski. “That’s exactly how we got here and Wisconsinites deserve better from their elected officials. As Senator, I will always fight for our reproductive freedom and stand strong against right-wing attacks on our constitutional right to safe, legal abortion because Roe v. Wade was never the beginning of people getting abortions, it was the end of people dying from unsafe abortions.”

“When radical, right-wing politicians launch all-out assaults on Wisconsinites’ constitutional rights, Sarah takes the fight head-on,” said Jake Strassberger, Campaign Manager for Sarah for Wisconsin. “Starting with protecting reproductive choice, this strategic ad campaign will showcase Sarah doing what she does best: standing up and fighting for Wisconsin families.”

This ad is the first part of a series of digital messages targeting likely primary voters, Democratic activists, and Wisconsin progressives on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and across the web. This significant buy will share Sarah’s message and story directly with the voters who will decide the outcome of this primary.

It’s a fundamental fight for our healthcare.

I’m Sarah Godlewski, candidate for U.S. Senate, and I will work to protect choice once and for all.
