Madison, Wis. — Institute for Reforming Government President CJ Szafir had this to say following Governor Tony Evers’ State of the State address on Tuesday:
“Gov. Evers demonstrated yet again that his agenda of higher taxes and more spending isn’t backed by Wisconsinites. The people of Wisconsin have suffered enough over the last year with businesses struggling, unemployment checks not being delivered, and the Administration’s continued failure to show any kind of transparency with Wisconsin residents. Gov. Evers would be wise to put the people first and get the economy back on track to help all Wisconsinites.”
